Spring Competition is a less structured netball competition run over the spring season. It is played in the late afternoons /nights.
The junior competition (age 9-12) is run at Canoon Road Complex, South Turramurra and the rest of the competition is run over 4 nights at Lofberg Complex, West Pymble.
There is unfortunately no Spring Competition for children under 9 (a child must be turning 9 before 31 December 2018 to play in the Spring Competition).
The Spring Competition operates differently from the Winter competition. There is no grading or weekly team practice.
Team members have to register as a team. Ideally, a person, probably the Team Manager will take responsibility for getting a team together and ensuring they register by Friday 17 August 2018. A team must have a minimum of 8 players and a maximum of 12 to register. Once the team is confirmed the team manager must email the team list along with the Manager’s contact details to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
Following are the details of the upcoming Spring Competition:
Competition Dates and structure
The 2018 Spring Competition commences on Monday, 17 September 2018. The competition runs for a total of 10 weeks with the final matches finishing in week beginning Monday, 3 December 2018. No games are played in the school holidays.
All teams play 10 matches (subject to weather, exception for bye grades and forfeits). Teams play at the same time each week.
KNA Spring Competition registrations will open on Monday, 16 July and close on Friday, 17 August 2018. All teams must register through the club. No late team registrations will be accepted after the KNA registration deadline.
Registration is via online only. Note there are two links. Majority of people will register through this link below:
For children turning 9 & 10 year before 31 December 2018 who did not play in the 2018 winter season (either for KNA or another association), please use this link below. It is separate as Netball NSW have a special program called NetSetGo which is for players 7-10 years of age. All NEW 9 & 10 year old players need to go through a NetSetGo link. (9 & 10 year old players who have played in the winter competition should register in the link above).
Please use the same login details you used for registering for winter netball. If you do not have a record of this login click on the above link then click on ‘forgotten login details’. Remember to do this against the record that says ‘St Ives Netball’. Also, check the email it is going to. If you have a new email address please email Devi at email@example.com

Every team must have a team manager. The team manager needs to email both the St Ives Registrar, Devi at firstname.lastname@example.org and Katie at email@example.com your name, contact details and the players who will be in your team. Also, what grade the player last played in and which season.
